The question is with such a huge menu and varied cuisines, can the kitchen really master any of them? And moreover, does it have to? The answer to both questions is no. While some dishes...

This seems obvious now, but at the time I was thrown by the name" "pig's head". I did try to get clarification from our server, by asking if the dish actually looked like a pig's head. He...

A trip to one of the area's most popular dim sum restaurants was long overdue.

Rushing to catch a plane at Dulles Airport this past Sunday (2/5/12), I grabbed a large black coffee and a prepackaged oatmeal cookie from Capitol Grounds at Dulles. The plane takes off, I put my seat back and take a sip of coffee. Excellent. I open my oatmeal raison cookie and I thought I was chewing on slightly flavored sawdust with hardened rabbit droppings. No, that's not much of an exaggeration.
They need to rotate their foodstuffs. Considering what I paid for that arch support disguised as a cookie, I would think you all could do better. I did notice the help was attentive, quick, and friendly but you can take your oatmeal cookies and place them where the sun don't shine.

Disappointing, won't be back, not recommended.
I have to say I was initially excited at the chance to try Kora, after reading the write-ups and accolades in the window. But my experience was disappointing. Starting with a bartender who had no fresh mint for the happy hour advertised mojitos, then no suggestions for an alternative happy hour cocktail? Really? A bartender who can't suggest a fun drink? Then there was the pasta. I thought the orecchiette sounded good. The execution was terrible with the pasta stuck together in lumps, watery sauce and barely a hint of the promised fresh mozzarella. Very disappointing.

    My new favorite place!
I've visited several times and the food is delicious! The pizza is fab, the service good and the salads are fresh and healthy. The restaurant is new so everything is crisp, clean and neat..very nice! Definitely give them a try.
