Oola (in San Francisco) "Oo-la-la!" October 03, 2007 - I tried Oola's on a friend's recommendation. The menu had me salivating from the first glance, "Oh, I'd try that! And that. And I gotta have that". Nothing really risky, but everything sounded enticing. The food didn't disappoint! Try the ribs -- delicious and so tender they fell off the bone almost without provocation. Oh, and the foie gras should be listed as a dessert item. |

Union Square Grill "Good not great" January 06, 2007 - Just had dinner here. The appetizers were pretty tasty, the entrees good and the service fine. But it's expensive for Seattle, and for the price it just didn't measure up. And the bread was stale. |
