Issaquah Brewhouse
"Bad food for High prices"
July 16, 2008 - The food was bad.
The BLT sandwich had tough bacon. I got tired just chewing on my half of the sandwich. It was too much for me, and I'm actually a chewy bacon fan as opposed to a crispy bacon fan.
And only 3 1-inch diameter meatballs for almost $7? They were the toughest meatballs i have ever had. And they were supposed to have been made out of Kobe beef? They were the worst I've ever had - I've had better ones from freezer section at the supermarket.

Bakeman's
"Turkey Sandwich"
March 07, 2008 - Whenvever I'm  queuing up, I wonder if I should try something else different but I always end up with a  turkey sandwich. (dark on brown, mayo, cranberry)  I rarely eat sandwiches because I normally dont like them but theres just something special about Bakeman's -- I'll eat them anytime.

Szechuan Noodle Bowl
"Best beef tendon in seattle"
March 07, 2008 - I like the Brown beef tendon.  This is beef tendon that I know and understand from my childhood. Braised and full of flavor and cooked in a brown sauce/gravy. The portions are generous, really nice big chunks. Totally unlike all the vietnamese pho places that give you little slivers of tasteless jelly.

Malay Satay Hut
"Not good enough for the price you pay"
November 02, 2007 - The other food was only average quality - equivalent to the average street food back in Malaysia.  The sour laska was pretty bad -worse than any I ad ever eaten in my life. They used the wrong rice noodle (thin ones instead of thick) and half the ingredients were mising e.g. mint, ginger flower etc. I wouldn't pay the price that they are charging given the quality and the service. I'm not sure why there are people that like the food. Maybe I ordered the wrong things or they have ready started to slide.

Steelhead Diner
"Good Brunch and Excellent Service"
July 17, 2007 - Five of us went there for brunch.  The service was impeccable.  The best dishes were the Eggs Ellensburg (Eggs and Chicken Fired Steak) and the Squimbled Eggs (Poached Eggs with Dungeness Crab Hollandaise).  The Eggs Walla Walla didn't work for me (poached eggs didn't go well with lamb - silly me - should have guessed, don't get me wrong, it was well done, just didn't really quite work)
