Serious Pie
"Overrated"
August 13, 2007 - The pizza here is good, and the topping combinations are original and well developed.  However, the thin-crust style that Serious Pie serves is done much better by both Tutta Bella and Via Tribunali (though I don't suggest going to the latter unless you mind waiting 60 minutes for a table).

Toshio's Teriyaki
"Terrible"
January 10, 2007 - First off, the place is COVERED wall-to-wall with Bible passages, crucifixes, and motivational phrases.  i.e. get your order to-go.
I ordered the chicken teriyaki.  The meat still had skin on it.  It was rough and fatty.
This presents the eater with two options:
1. Remove the skin, which is gross and time-consuming, and eat the meat inside, which no longer has teriyaki flavor, since it was on the skin.
2. Eat the skin, which is gross, but at least it has teriyaki sauce on it.
I'll never go back here again.  There's just too much good Teriyaki in Seattle to be eating at a place like this.
