Ephesus "Food is outstanding service is horrible" August 16, 2007 - That pretty much sums up our experience. The food is very good but they only had one server for about 9 tables and as a result she was just doing her best to keep up. There's nothing more annoying that having to track your server down just so you can place an order or get the check.Again - the food is exceptional. |

Cactus "Average food less than average service" August 16, 2007 - I will first say that Cactus was hyped up quite a bit before I went there for the first time so I had very high expectations. I think that great service can make up for average food and that bad service can ruin great food so when our service was slow I was disappointed. we were all excited to order cocktails but it took our server so long to even take our order that we tried to order our dinner too. We were told it could be a while for our drinks because one of the bartenders didn't show up and as a result the orders were stacking up. We finally did get our drinks about 15 minutes later and really didn't get good service for the rest of the night. Our meals were fine but there was no server checking on us or refreshing our drinks. Too bad.Once we flagged someone down so that we could pay and get out of there it had been two hours.Yikes - I hope its better next time. |
