China Village Restaurant "good chinese food" March 25, 2008 - I eat lunch here a couple of times a month- I'm not sure how authentic it is having never been to China, but it's very tasty and has NEVER made me ill. The restaurant is family run and the service is always prompt. Tony (which I don't think is his real name) is nearly always our waiter and remembers our names and the several dishes that we typically order and is super friendly. Definitely recommended- a little gem on Sand Point Way. |

Walter's Cafe ""the scoop"" January 28, 2008 - This place is better known as The Scoop @ Walters- excellent ice cream (snoqualmie, i think). Get the kids scoop if you're not into a lot of ice-cream; it's plenty and cheaper. Really nice folks here- it feels like a real neighborhood place nestled between rain city video and an old-fashioned barbershop. Plus, there's usually cool art on the wall and they special order this banana ice cream that nobody but my wife likes. 2 thumbs up. |

Thai Kitchen (Queen Anne) "i like thai kitchen" January 02, 2008 - whenever i'm in Queen Anne and feel like eating thai food- i head out here. The people are friendly and the food is very good. It's not Thai One On (lake city way), but it's still very very good. VERY interesting that this is the only restaurant with a scanned menu... hmmm... is there some special importance that this restaurant has for the Urbanspooners? Perhaps this is the best thai restaurant in town? 6 people like this review - Recommend |

Zagi's Pizza Ristorante "best pizza in seattle" January 02, 2008 - sounds cliche, right? But it's true. If you're into deep dish so-called "chicago style" gut bomb pizza- look elsewhere. Zagi's pizza is a thin crust, not too greasy, fresh and high quality ingredients. There are plenty of OK pizza joints in Seattle, but I'll drive the 20 min. cross town for a slice of Zagis. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |
