L'Express (in New York) "I keep wanting to like it..." October 31, 2007 - ...and it's just around the corner, but every time I think it'll be OK, *one* thing goes way wrong. The wrong dish arrives, or the hostess is unusually surly, or something. I try, I really do. And it just never quite happens. And still I keep going back, swearing this time it'll be OK .... |

Big Daddy's Diner (in New York) "the worst of all worlds" October 31, 2007 - Slow, indifferent & sloppy service, food that can only charitably be called "average for a mall" and already shabby. I need a replacement for Mayrose, got colleagues together here once, and we all but walked out. I will NEVER go back. |
