Red Mill Burgers (Interbay)
"head to phinney"
May 04, 2008 - Somehow, flavor was missing from our bacon deluxe today and the beef patty was thinner than usual and too dried out.  Cost-cutting ploy or a fluke?  I'll have to wait until next time to find out.  One advantage of this location is that there's more seating available.  Disadvantage: not as lively and fun as the Phinney Red MIll.

"good, simple japanese fare"
March 01, 2008 - perfectly fried tempura, good spicy creamy scallop nigiri and the Japanese style fried chicken was nicely spiced and, again, lightly fried to perfection.

"in love with the agnolotti"
March 01, 2008 - each bit of the agnolotti was a superb punch of flavor . . . definitely the best dish of our night.  am curious to explore the menu a bit more.  nice atmosphere, nice service, pricey wine by the glass.

Agua Verde
"mango mango mango"
February 25, 2008 - the mangorita (mango margarita) and the mangodilla (mango quesadilla) were perfect for happy hour on a lovely sunny, near-spring day.  i am a huge mango fan, but i think anyone would find both (made with fresh mangoes) tasty delights.

Bombay Grill
"really hit the spot"
February 24, 2008 - lamb nawabi korma paired with the mint paratha was delish; I normally don't like sweet curries, but the bombay mango masala was surprisingly enjoyable.  we ordered take-out, but the service in the 10-15 minutes we were there was great--they had us sit by the fireplace while we waited for our order and served us complimentary chai tea.
