Longhorn Barbecue Outpost "Smokey and tasty" August 15, 2007 - My office is across the street from Longhorn, so I have long been privy to their super-smoked-out exterior. Smoke billows from their kitchen constantly and the street smells of charred wood at all hours - honestly, it kept me away for fear of emerging from their restaurant similarly fragranced. However my office recently had a party catered by Longhorn and it was AWESOME. Delicious ribs and chicken make the smokey smell 100% worth it! |

Grand Central Baking Company "Good sandwiches, great cookies" August 15, 2007 - In my opinion, one of the best places in Pioneer Square to have lunch. Lots of tables both outside and inside, a great selection of sandwiches and soups, and seriously tasty cookies. Can be slow sometimes but generally because they get busy during the lunch rush. |

Salumi "long line, not so awesome" August 15, 2007 - After a lot of recommendations and 45 mins in line (and I was hungry when I left the office) it should have been the best meal ever. Unfortunately, what I got was a $10 piece of bread with a slice of meat. Over-rated and over-priced, I wanted it to be good but it just wasn't. 3 people like this review - Recommend |

Imo asian bistro "new name, same tasty sushi" July 11, 2007 - The sushi restaurant formerly known as Bonzai, now known as Imo...Still has good sushi, especially for the neighborhood, and has a great happy hour for sushi and drinks. 4 people like this review - Recommend |

Steel Pig - Aurora North "eat the wings, avoid the rest" January 10, 2007 - Seriously tasty, tender and delicious wings but the rest of the BBQ staples disappointed in a big way - tough ribs, bland chicken, mushy catfish. The sides were pretty good, but the waitress' recommendation of their "excellent" mac and cheese was a total lie. Where I come from, you don't put brown sugar on top of mac. You just don't.Overall it was decent, but it's not destination BBQ. |
