"Great burgers - but try the "more" too!" by Benjamin Johnstone-Anderson (86 reviews)
January 12, 2008 - Maybe the SPU kids are right about this whole religion thing after all.  Because the only thing that explains the awesomeness that is Stell's is divine intervention.
Stell's is a friendly, casual local burger (and more!) joint.  There's nothing greasy here - not the food, the atmosphere, or the staff.  They pride themselves on their low-sodium pastrami (on the delicious Stell's Burger), lean beef, and healthier menu options ($1.75 for a Greek side salad!).
The burgers are the centerpiece.  They're unpretentious but tasty.  But missing the "other" would be a crime.  The souvlaki (chicken grilled Greek-style on a skewer) rivals Middle Eastern holes-in-the-wall.  There's also some other unusual items worth trying (tiramisu shakes!).
Stell's is everything it should be - casual, un-fussy, friendly, and above all delicious.
Highly recommended.

"Red Mill competitor" by georgene (1 review)
August 23, 2007 - Okay so I love Red Mill burgers but Stell's gives Red Mill a run for the money.  The food is yummy, I tried a pastrami burger and onion rings (the onion rings were some of the best I have had).  I loved the pastrami burger also, but maybe a bit heavy for lunch.  I hope to try a new burger everytime I go.  Bonuses: Cheap food and a very clean environment.

"Great burgers fries and onion rings!" by hherbert (1 review)
June 14, 2007 - In the past I haven't been a huge fan of going out for burgers.   More often than not they are bland and not so tasty.  Stell's changed all that!
Stellios, and Sandy, the very friendly and lively owners, serve up mean burgers!
My favorite would be the Italian chicken club, Stell doesn't over or under-cook his chicken, and the bacon on these burgers is applewood smoked and to die for.
Similar story for his bacon burgers, the patties are very tasty and not all dried up and he has a zesty sauce that he puts on top.  The jalapeno burger is my wife's favorite!
To go with all that Stell's makes very nice fries and  onion rings, not greasy!
Let's not forget the economics of it all!  The prices are as reasonable as you will find in downtown Seattle, so you can go as often as you like, without sitting in a fast food chain.
The restaurant is sparkling clean and cozy, so it is a nice place both for lunch or dinner.  Also nice is that there is always plenty of parking.
