September 30, 2009 - Likes it - I am not big on writing reviews, but the staff at Cellar 46 treated us like royalty. Cellar 46 had a great menu and the food was outstanding. My husband and I both had the specials and they were great. We were sorry we didn't have the baby sitter for another hour. Definitely recommended. |

January 31, 2009 - Likes it - If you're into the local foods movement and you like wine, this is a great place. Outstanding WA & OR wines. The owner is seriously connected and gets hold of outstanding lesser known/smaller runs. 2 people like this review Recommend |

"Try It!"

October 08, 2008 - Likes it - On the retail side, Cellar 46 has, arguably, the best selection of Northwest wines in Seattle (seriously). The retail staff (Kitrik and Ryan) is well versed (both new and old world wines) and they are extremely helpul and not at all pretentious. Their wine classes are actually informative and helpful. The wine by the glass selection at the wine bar is not as comprehensive as either Purple or Local Vine but their prices are far more reasonable than either and they do have an excellent assortment of choices.I believe they recently expanded the menu and while I'll miss the salads (if anyone from Cellar 46 reads this: please bring back the salads!) they have a great selection of light dinner fare. I recently had the Northwestern Crepe, which was surprisingly impressive, accompanied by the Vegetable Misto. Both dishes were well prepared and the staff suggestion for wine pairing was superb. The downside: it's on Mercer Island and while technically not Eastside (it's still 206) you do have to cross a Bridge AND go through a Tunnel to get there from here. 5 people like this review Recommend |

April 04, 2008 - Likes it - Cellar 46 was terrific about letting me host a bridal shower there on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The tidbits were so tasty - especially the quesadilla with brie and pear and the crab asiago dip. It's a gorgeous setting and those wine flights are always perfect. 4 people like this review Recommend |

February 24, 2008 - Doesn't like it - This is definitely a locals joint and the servers all make that very clear by providing great service to those that they know, and lousy service to outsiders. It's a shame too because it's got one of the best wine selections. 1 person likes this review Recommend |
