"They can still cook" by ankur (5 reviews)
May 03, 2008 - We started going to this place back before it became popular, almost on a daily basis since it was just down the street from us and their was always an open table. Then I think it was listed as new best restaurant in Seattle Weekly we needed to 'plan ahead' and make a reservation, which is of course too much work for me. Fast forwards a year and now the crowd has shrunk but the food is still great. For the price, you can't find a better cook in Seattle. We often go to other restaurants and end up thinking 'for that bill, we should have just gone to Dinette instead'.

"it works" by FoodHunt (7 reviews)
December 14, 2006 - nothing too fancy or innovative to write home about, but what they're doing is done just right!  The toasts are great!  I love when I find a place that just works.
