"Very good"
by Numbersix
(13 reviews) May 20, 2008 - I was looking for a place to have a special birthday dinner. 94 Stewart did not disappoint. The atmosphere was unique--has a "romantic hideaway" feel to it without being too kitschy. Service was excellent--professional, unobtrusive but helpful, not whatsoever snobby. My entree (halibut with pea shoots, potatoes, and serrano ham crisps) was simple but prepared very well. Very nice overall.

"Atmosphere Great, food, not so much"
by foofy21
(2 reviews) March 28, 2008 - Lovely intimate space, food can't match. Fried avocado app is a novelty but didn't really taste like anything. My scallops were nearly raw; my dining partner's salmon was run-of-the-mill. Too bad; in theory this place is lovely; in practice, save your money.

"Can I go again? PLEEEEEASE!"
by john5266
(1 review) January 31, 2008 - When in the market we always stop at 94 for lunch or dinner. It never disappoints. I think we've had everyone wait on us at least twice by now. Sean, their resident photographer (according to their website) is very serious, but easy to get him laughing. Andy, I saw somewhere he's chatty and I'm sooooo glad for it! Houston, with his air of professionalism in everything he does is always ready to please. And no, I didn't forget Nic, he's only their at night and is usually busy working on other project, but you can really tell he cares everytime he waits on you. When in Seattle or just downtown, make 94 a stop along the way. Celinda, the Chef and owner is there 99% of the time and actually works in her kitchen. We've never been disappointed with any dish she puts out; be it dry aged new york, perfectly cooked fresh salmon or even that succulent fatty pork! mmmmmmmmh! 1 person likes this review - Recommend

"Forget 25 for 25"
by Tuff Love
(1 review) November 29, 2007 - Or whatever they are calling and charging for it this year. Did you even know it was going on? I just found out yesterday! Who cares with places like 94 though. I did find out on one of my recent visits they do praticipate in a 30 for 30 event in a couple months. I of course will not wait that long to visit again. I know there are those deal hunters out there that think that is all that matters though. They seem to be willing to put up with small portion frozen entrees and even the bad service that usually accompanies it. Go out one less time a week and spend the extra few dollars to get the best and make that trip to 94! 1 person likes this review - Recommend

"94 stewart"

(1 review) August 22, 2007 - What a find! The staff were warm, friendly, and a joy to interact with.... I had been worried they might be a touch 'uppity' given the rave reviews and top of the line food , wine and prices. Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome by everyone from the Hostess to the Waitstaff. And the food! five star for sure. Everything was done to perfection, with beautiful presentation, and no one in our group went away hungry. Would recommend this 'eatery' to one and all! 1 person likes this review - Recommend

"Simply awful"
by Adrock
(9 reviews) May 17, 2007 - This was one of my worst dining experiences in quite a while. The first course was passable, but the main course (scallops with truffled bulgar wheat) was so salty that I could barely eat it. The service was bad as well. It's my first and last time dining there. 1 person likes this review - Recommend

(16 reviews) December 31, 2006 - I found this place on the Feast at the Market, and it was one of my favorite restaurants at that event. They use simple ingredients to create some very impressive dishes. 2 people like this review - Recommend |
