"My Favorite BBQ"
by Zarnie
(1 review) April 02, 2008 - Pecos Pit is my favorite BBQ place in Seattle and surrounding areas. I've been going there for years. My favorite is the Pecos Beef with the Medium Sauce, spicy without the pain. If you don't like it really spicy, get mild. The sandwiches are sloppy, so if you don't like a lot of sauce, ask for it on the side like the PI reviewer did. Fast, friendly service. I highly recommend it.

(2 reviews) February 15, 2008 - the bbq sandwich was too drenched in BBQ sauce; ruined it for me.

"BBQ Sauce"
by Roger from Seattle
(1 review) July 23, 2007 - I recently tried a sliced BBQ beef sandwich with the medium sauce. It was so spicy hot I could not finish it. I just threw it away rather than to get a refund.

"Tasty sauce, but texture of pork not for me"
by aghman
(4 reviews) February 02, 2007 - I'm a recent immigrant from Virginia, so I was eager to try out Seattle's idea of BBQ (at least one version of it, at least) I tried the pork, and while the sauce had some good flavors, it didn't make up for the chopped texture. I'm used to a pulled pork, which makes for a more solid, eatable sandwich. Overall, I'd definately go back and try some of the sliced beef, as that looked good as well. |
