July 22, 2009 - Doesn't like it - Just seemed like another teriyaki joint to me. Nothing too exciting on the menu and the beef I had was dry and pretty flavorless. I'm with some of the other reviewers----can't figure out where all of the great reviews came from! I sure don't get it... 1 person likes this review Recommend |

"Tasty pupus . . ."
by Lani

October 12, 2008 - Stopped in for lunch and had the Coconut Shrimp (4 skewered shrimp) and Spring Rolls (2) because I wanted just finger food. Both dishes were freshly made and very good. The Spring Rools contained pork that could actually be tasted and chewed. Both appetizers came with the same dipping sause, a pineapple sweet and sour that also had a touch of something spicey hot (chiles, fresh ginger?). I didn't mind the duplication because it tasted fresh and declicious. I can't comment on the entrees because Ithat was my first visit. The service was attentive and friendsly. The big screen TV was showing a video of a Hawaiian performing group that kept me entertained until the pupus were served. Took 2 shrimp sewers and one Spring Roll home. They tasted great re-heated in the oven the next day. 1 person likes this review Recommend |

"Extremely disappointing"

July 30, 2008 - Doesn't like it - Wow. I'm surprised at all of these good reviews. Sure, it's cheap..average of $8.95 per entree. However, everything seemed like it was fried, previously frozen, and extremely bland. If this is considered "authentic Hawaiian", then I am pretty disappointed. It was a complete waste of money. I could have had the same caliber of food at McDonalds. 1 person likes this review Recommend |

June 22, 2008 - Likes it - The food is good, not great, but it's a fun and original place. The service is usually fast, though perhaps it's because I've never seen it crowded.Perfect fast, reasonably-priced lunch |

"Like going home to grandma's home cooked meals"

February 10, 2007 - Likes it - I went here to find some Katsu Curry that was not made of frozen vegetables like most teriyaki places. I was surptised. This is not a teriyaki lpace. All the meals are excellent. It was like the dinners I used to have with Family in Hawaii. I go here every week now. 3 people like this review Recommend |
