"Not so friendly staff after seating"

September 15, 2009 - The advantage of Cheesecake Factory is that they are open late. They have outdoor seating and nice heating lamps hanging. We were there for dinner and were really put off by the staff who took us inside for seating. They seemed like they did not care about what we were asking them. When we made requests for recommendations for Vegetarians, they simply asked us to read the menu.... We got bugged and left... We have gone their for desserts before and love their godiva cheesecake., |

April 21, 2008 - Doesn't like it - Long wait, no reservations, and incredibly mediocre food. I keep trying the place, because it's just a block from my condo and I desperately want it to be good, but it's not. It appalls me that we Bellevue dwellers have such a dearth of good food that this place continues to do a booming business. 1 person likes this review Recommend |

"gift cards are bad"

April 09, 2008 - Doesn't like it - just a warning to those who are thinking about purchasing a gift card at the cheesecake factory: it's much more of a hassel on your gift receipents then you might think. my husband and i received a $50.00 gift card for christmas, went to the bellevue location and tried to use the card. it was not activated. it took a plane trip for my brother from L.A. (he was planning on visiting anyways), an hour wait at the restaurant, and an additonal 2 days (research on manager's part) for us to actually use our gift card. when they issued the "new card" to replace the one that did not work, they made us feel like petty thieves who had nothing better to do than steal gift cards from the cheesecake factory. then we tried to use the "new card" and apparently, the manager who helped us (for the last 3 days) failed to activate the card. it's a vicious circle and i plan to use them for every last cent on that card. |

January 27, 2008 - Doesn't like it - We have three kids and thought it would be great to go to the Cheesecake factory, but we were wrong. They do not have a set kids menu so you end up ordering small plates which costs about double a normal kids menu price. The wait is really long and I haven't got a clue as to why? The food is marginal and really we could have gone to Pagliaci for way less money and had a better meal. October 21, 2007 - Doesn't like it - The wait at CF is very long (1.5 hours + during prime times). Food is average, cheesecake is okay (nowhere near as good as you would expect for aplce that is supposed to be known for cheesecake). The portions can be a bit too long. I've been dissapointed everytime I've been (especially on the day that they ran out of turkey for turkey sandwiches during lunch) Service is good, but this place it not worth the wait. I strongly suggest walking across the street to Manzana instead of dining at CF. 1 person likes this review Recommend |

September 03, 2007 - Really likes it - The Cheesecake Factory is a great date spot. The perfect spot for a HUGE menu and fairly quick service, as long as you can get in on a weekend. Wait times can be up to an hour and a half! It's worth it if you have time though! |
