December 30, 2007 - The food at Harvest Vine was spectacular. However, the service we received was not up to the high quality of their food. We will not go back.

May 21, 2007 - After hearing all the rave reviews last year, I thought we would give it a try a couple of months ago. The food was so-so and the service made me never want to come back (on a weeknight too! they weren't that busy). So I tried once more about a month later, hoping for a better experience. And it was the same as before. Not very tasty for all the raves, and the same unfriendly service. Hopefully when they open the new restaurant they will review some new recipes, maybe the third time's the charm.

December 31, 2006 - The dishes are great, although small and pricey.  The best way to enjoy a meal is at the copper bar in front of the open kitchen, since you can see the chefs preparing and presenting all of the food.

November 23, 2006 - I've only been there once, but I'd like to go back.  It was all very good, but one of the more memorable dishes was scrambled eggs with teeny tiny whole fish.
And yes, Chef Joseba Jimenez de Jimenez actually does walk around the restaurant with a pointy mustache and beret.

October 26, 2006 - Hard to get in, but if you can find a seat at the tapas bar, enjoy a glass of wine and some of the very best food in Seattle. Probably not a place for vegetarians (esp. those who do not like to look at or smell meat cooking) because of all the wonderful sausage that is almost always smoking on the the grill. Warm, cozy, comfortable atmosphere and great service make HV a worthwhile night out on the town.
