"Dey fine"

October 04, 2009 - Likes it - This place pours on the Cajun charm, and it works. A big room in a great old historical building in ped-friendly downtown Round Rock. A big menu offering all of the NOLA favorites and lots of funny "You might be Cajun if..." quips. Really big portions! I had an oyster po'boy that was a foot long and a mouth and half wide. The cooking is more that satisfactory, and while it might not be the best Louisiana-style cuisine you've ever eaten, it's great for a lunch out with the family. Five thumbs up from sis and nephs and niephs! |

"Good restaurant in downtown Round Rock"

January 07, 2009 - Likes it - I like the atmosphere of the place. It's in an old storefront in downtown Round Rock. The food is good, but a little bland for my taste. They have cayenne pepper and two types of Louisiana hot sauce on the table, so you can kick things up a bit. Their etouffee is superb, and the jambalaya is good. They bring carafes of whatever you are drinking to your table, so you never have to worry about running out of tea or soda. |
