"Interesting Place"
by Dan I. Cook

October 11, 2009 - Likes it - Being a native of Broward County, I'm sad to say that I have never been here before. This restaurant is old Florida at it's best. A one room with a counter, terrazzo floor joint that hasn't be remodeled in decades. The old southern charm comes out when you meet the wait staff. Just very pleasent and friendly. I had the sliced pork platter with fries and slaw. It was good BBQ. I am more of a red sauce guy and they serve their Q with a mustard base sauce. Not really used to that but again this was my first time there. The meat was nice and smokey and the sides were good too. My favorite was the banana pudding. This was homemade goodness. Noting fancy here, but man do I love these favors. Fresh bananas in a pudding with vanilla wafer cookies topped with whipped cream. Good stuff here.Remember to tell them Dan sent you for the fat free (yeah right lol) banana pudding and Stay Hungry! 3 people like this review Recommend |

September 08, 2009 - Likes it - Absolutely fabulicious!! I can smell the BBQ all the way to my house! Dive feel, but the staff is better than most 5 star restaurants. The Q is the best I've ever eaten. Even the fries are fab! I buy their BBQ sauce by the gallon. Don't miss this hidden treasure ;-) |

"FINALLY AMAZING BBQ!"

September 05, 2009 - Really likes it - The pork sandwich can not be beat from any other BBQ place within 200 miles of here. It is chopped smokey, crunchy, mixed with tender goodness! All combined with the best mustard sauce and if you put the cole slaw on every bite, the sweet coleslaw with the smokey goodness... BRAVO! OH AND IT'S SOOOO CHEAP! 1 person likes this review Recommend |

"BEST BBQ in South Florida"
by John
(7 reviews)
July 20, 2009 - Really likes it - A hole in the wall type restaurant that you can drive past even when looking for it. Inside however is the best BBQ pork sandwich in South Florida. Service can be slow as it has the laid back atmosphere of old Florida. The best time to go is for lunch and I have heard a lot of good things about their breakfasts as well. 2 people like this review Recommend |
