December 12, 2009 - Doesn't like it - Houston we have a problem!! Over priced and over hyped, ok so it has good service, and a Sushi bar... but the menu is very limited. We ordered The NY Strip and they served it with butter on top of the stake!!! (I don't know about you but if I ordered beef I want to be able to taste the beef). Houston, save the butter for the corn on the cob. |

November 17, 2009 - Likes it - Okay this place consistently packs in the crowds, even in our so-called down economy. Why? Quality of service and food. The price is what you'd expect for a trendy restaurant in Coral Gables. Those of you that think it is overpriced have been eating too many palomilla steaks at Sergios for $8.95.If available try the Hawaian Porterhouse steak, the sushi roll with macadamia nuts is very good. For lunch the Thai Salad is great, or even a burger is no miss here. If you want expensive with less ambience, cross the street and try Mortons. Food just as good for twice the price. 3 people like this review Recommend |

September 26, 2009 - Likes it - I like this place. One of my favorite NY Strip steaks lives here. They put a nice rub on it, very tasty. A pretty good spinach dip. Today I had the soup of the day which was Firehouse Chili. A chunky, beefy, thick chili with a heaping portion of cheddar and some raw onions sprinkled on it. I did not want to share...I also had the Biltmore grilled chicken sandwich with Monterey jack & arugula, one of the best chicken sandwiches around. 1 person likes this review Recommend |

May 05, 2009 - Food is good but the wait is ridiculous! It's always packed because of happy hour, so make sure to arrive early if not you will be eating having a crowd watch you until you finish to snatch your table. If you like a packed house Houstons is your place. |

April 15, 2008 - I always loved the Biltmore Chicken Sandwich. They took it away and replaced it with a Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich, which is horrible! I know what you're thinking, "it's rotisserie chicken, how could that make such a big difference?" Well, it's something about the flavor that just doesn't work in the sandwich, it's awful! It's a shame because I live down the street and love their caesar salad and now there are no entrees I eat! (not to mention they won't do take-out)Houston's: Please, please bring the Biltmore back! |
