"Don't recommend"

September 19, 2009 - Doesn't like it - Stale chips, watery salsa that was inedible do to large amount of liquid smoke. Entree was pathetic. Overall, not a good experience. This was my second attempt going here. The first time I went all I got was guacamole and chips, but there was paper in the salsa. Won't go back. |

July 15, 2009 - Blue Mesa's Sunday Brunch is famous in FTW. Sit on the patio, or dine inside. The mimosas and food are to die for. It is very Southwest Fajitas, and made from scratch omelets are a little different from Tex-Mex. They also have numerous other entrees that will tempt you. On Sunday be prepared to wait a bit. Reservations are accepted and advised for Sunday. During the week, the happy hour really brings in the crowds as well. Lunch is usually pretty quick. Note - they have a birthday club. |

"great, but I get a stomach ache every time!"

April 11, 2009 - Likes it - The food is tasty and not too generic, but I have yet to eat there when it didn't give me a horrible stomach ache afterwards. It must be too greasy or something, but the painted desert soup and the red chile encrusted salmon are very good. And always order a corn cake on the side!! They are wonderful! |

"Brunch"

November 26, 2008 - Likes it - Blue Mesa's Brunch is a staple in my family. Its a wonderful place to sit on the patio, drink mimosas and get most likely unhealthy fat. It works out for us because they have everything! Fajitas, omletes (made at the counter fresh) fruit, waffles with awesome syrup and pecans, adobe pies and huevos rancheros just to name a few of the items. The food isn't going to knock you out with its quality, it is tasty, but the best part about it is that it is fresh. Beware the lines, I've never been when there wasnt one.Brunch is $16.95 per person and includes champagne, Mimosas, coffee, tea or soft drinks. Children 6-10 years are $6.95, and children 5 and under are free.Hours are from 10:00am to 2:00pm. |

August 27, 2008 - WE visited Blue Mesa Grill for supper on a Tuesday night, after reading reviews of the place, and looking forward to trying the sweet potato chips. They were good. The menu offered more than most Southwestern menus. The guacamole made at our tableside was excellent. I had the Beef Medallions & my husband had the sampler platter, and we were both well pleased. Margaritas come in several selections. Staff were attentive and friendly, atmosphere was casual and fun. I would recommend this restaurant for a very enjoyable meal. |
