Pretty authentic Beijing-style food. Excellent quality. Nice and helpful people. food comes out fast, fresh and soo luscious , Its chinese gourmet food at cheap prices....Service: Good service. Very tentative to our needs and super friendly. Price: It's pretty cheap, Ambiance: Just a typical Chinese restaurant. Green walls with black chairsOverall: TOTALLY COMING BACK FOR MORE FOOD!!

Great hidden treasure for affordable quality Chinese by Tunit (184 reviews) November 26, 2009 - Likes it
I feel really guilty for not having visited Fat Kee Noodle House before. I've never gone despite constantly hearing about them from friends, seeing the location everytime I visit Clay Oven, and even seeing their noodle products line the racks of Asian stores in the city.Definitely worth the visit, for less than $6 you can get a small satisfying bowl of noodle soup. It may not be large, but really if you're not looking to gorge, it's enough to satisfy. If you're also visiting, and don't want to order a huge meal, they have a few specials you can get. Normally I wouldn't go with western choices of sweet and sour pork and ginger beef, but a huge plate of those two selections with fried rice was under $10. While I wasn't expecting much from these selections, I was surprised at how good they were. Crisp batter, fresh out of the pot, it was more than I needed, but I really enjoyed it until I was uncomfortably full. When it's busy (there are a lot of dinner take out orders from what we saw), I wouldn't expect the fastest service, but the staff try their best to accommodate. They told us it might be a wait, but I don't think we waited more than 10 to 15 minutes to get our meal, which is reasonable. And looking at all the dishes everyone ordered around us, there are definitely some unique dishes I don't even know if they're on the English menu.In one week we visited this place twice. We'll visit it again next time we're in the area and hungry.

Great Food, Great Prices, Great Service !
by V York (54 reviews) June 06, 2009 - Really likes it
This popular Chinese place in the northeast keeps serving up some of the more affordable meals with all the components of a great place. I have been here so many times, I have lost count. Could be more than 25. The food always come hot, the waitress is consistent with her delivery of service, and the place is fairly clean and with basic design. The portions for the price, you can' t beat it in the NE for Chinese. Most dishes are between $7- 10. Good for most of the population struggling to meet financial commitments. Give this a try when your in the NE, you'll enjoy it.
