March 07, 2009 - Doesn't like it - 41 years I've been going to Geraci's. I pretty much grewup going there for pizza, after ball games, dance class, movies, dates, you name it. I took my Wife and Son with a firend of his to a hockey game and promised them the best pizza they had ever had afterwards. We drove 68 miles out of our way to eat at the "wonderful" place. What a horrible mistake. We arrived at 10:45 pm and the place was completely empty. We ordered 3 small pizzas and an order of calamari for my Wife. Her food was served within 5 minutes. The rest of us waited over 40 minutes for three small pizzas. I watched as one of them came out of the oven and was placed under a heat lamp. 10 minutes later, the second one was added. At this point I asked to speak with the manager and was told she was out of the building. Probably having a smoke instead of supervising the operation. When she did appear, I was informed that they were in the process of shutting down (at 10:45 pm on a Friday night??????) and that they had to open everything up for us. Like it was our fault we were hungry. When I pointed out that my Wife's meal was served within minutes, leaving the rest of us sitting there, I was unceremoniously told that, "Oh, her's was an appetizer" when we had specifically indicated that it should be served with the rest of our food. I told the manager at that point that the food was unacceptable, still hadn't even been served yet and to give me the bill for the calamari and our drinks and we would be on our way. Her response....Oh, it's complimentary to which I responded, nothing here is a compliment and we left. Stay the hell out of this place. They have no clue how to run a business. Oh yes, as we left, I watched them pull the remnants of my pizza out of the oven with the bottom burning and smoking. 2 people like this review Recommend |

"Geraci's - Not Good"

October 06, 2008 - Doesn't like it - Went to Geraci's 10/05/2008. Service was very slow. We ordered a salad which was ok. the pizza was over cooked to the point you could hardly cut it with a fork & Knife. My mother had to scrape the topping off with her teeth (not a pleasant sight). The server never came & asked how our food was. When we paid at the registar the woman didn't care either. Al she cared about was collecting her money. The guy who was making the pizza look so bored. They used to toss it in the air & twirl it. I grew up on this Pizza, used to go here all the time as a child. Based on the experience we had I am amazed they are still in business. One of our party commented that the pizza at Target on Cedar Rd was 1000 times better. Sad to say you lost our business.Signed,Sad in south Euclid 4 people like this review Recommend |
