"Very Disappointing!"

April 17, 2008 - Doesn't like it - Went there for early dinner on Friday. Four people...four different entrees....and not one met "normal" standards. My wife had the crabcakes. Mainly filler, very little crab and overcooked (to the point of being crispy). Her side pasta had a "marinara" sauce that had waaay too much red pepper in it. She couldn't eat it and even a taste sample was too hot for me. After 10 minutes, they brought out a replacement that was almost room temp with bland tomato sauce. I had the special - risotto with scallops. About a large half- cup of risotto with 3 scampies covered with a sweet sauce. The risotto had left "al dente" far behind in its wake and it resembled oatmeal. Our guests had equally bad luck with their meal. (One had a "lobster melt" and the brie that covered the scraps of lobster was unmelted and still had the rind on it.....Good grief!) We won't be back. |
