City Paper
They used to make steel here; now they make beer. Enjoy a High Level brown ale, named for the nearby bridge. There's als full review | all City Paper reviews |

"I can't vote on this place."

August 07, 2009 - I just can't give a vote on this place. I think their apps are pretty good i really like the soft pretzles, their main courses have been somewhere between awful and edible medium rare steak came out well done more than once rice was dry, fish was way overcooked. And their beer is pretty good despite the fact that they use the same proprietary strain of yeast regardless of what style of beer it is. I also like sing sing, but that doesn't have anything to do with food at all. |

August 26, 2008 - Likes it - i do like rock bottom alot. they have great beer & fun appetizers. i noticed that they were on the urban spoon list of "best pittsburgh steakhouses". lol. come on, give me a beak. the day i got to rock bottom specifically for a steak will probably be never. i am not saying they dont have a good steak (i wouldnt know...i wouldnt order one there) but 2 thumbs up for their apps and handcrafted brew! its a fun place to hang out if you happen to be in the waterfront. 9 people like this review Recommend |
