"Going Downhill"

(16 reviews) June 10, 2008 - Sad to see this restaurant going downhill. When it first opened with the original owners it was a great place for authentic Mexican food and drinks. Now, you couldn't pay me to eat there. If you do go stay away from the fish dishes! |

(86 reviews) November 27, 2007 - El Dorado Mexican Cantina & Grill isn't bad, per se. It just falls into that middling class of Mexican restaurants that have to call themselves something silly like "Cantina & Grill" to forge an identity. El Dorado has generous-sized plates of OK Mexican fare that's non-commital about whether it's Americanized or semi-authentic, and ends up not particularly pulling off either. But this also means it's inoffensive, a place that will scare no one while (to its credit) being far superior to Taco Bell.I wouldn't disparage El Dorado, but I won't return either. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |
