November 03, 2009 - Likes it - Somewhat "Americanized" but the food tasted very good. I had a steak taco with mole sauce, a cheese enchilada with a combo of green and red sauces, and a chicken tamale. For dessert, a very smooth and creamy flan. I will come back for seconds. |

July 27, 2009 - Likes it - My family and I have been going here for years! It is my favorite mexican restraunt for sure! And whatever idiot said you don't need microwaves in a restraunt has obviously never worked in one before. ANY restraunt you work in is going to have microwaves!! HA! Over all this is a great family restraunt and I would eat here anyday over half the other mexican restraunts in Portland! |

March 26, 2009 - Lupe's Escape is great little place. The food is consistently good. I highly recommend the Chicken Mole', Carnita's & Chipotle Shrimp. All are excellent. I'm not a Chile Relleno fan but my family loves them. Prices are very fair. Drinks are tasty and pack a punch. It's usually busy at dinner time so service can be a tad slow. It's worth the wait. |

February 10, 2009 - Doesn't like it - 5 microwaves!!! Count em, 5!! Unnacceptable for any restaurant to heat and serve with that many microwaves. The place isn't even that big. I was shocked the last time I went to hear the doors slamming shut and the constant beeping telling the " cooks" that my food was done. I have a microwave at home I can " cook" the same stuff with. In fact that's what I'll do next time a friend wants to go to lupes. Just have them over for frozen burritos. Don't believe me? Go see for yourself! |

November 17, 2008 - Likes it - I have had better, it was 7 out of 10. Service could improve, music they play should be more with their mexican theme. It is a small building, so you will find it hard to get up when others are sitting behind you.. The chicken did look like home made good chicken. The price was good. My wife told me she was not feeling good 2 hours after eating this. It is not authentic Mexican food. It is one step above taco bell, maybe. It is an ok place to change it a little from the regular. |

October 19, 2008 - Likes it - This is a great hole in the wall restaurant! A welcome change from Beaverton's constant cooperation restaurants. My husband and I thought the food was simply delicious and the prices and service were great too. This will be our go to Mexican restaurant from now on! |
