	"Not bad, nothing great" by Chase Anderson (20 reviews) October 02, 2009 - Doesn't like it - Eh. There's a lot of hype about Elmo's, and I'm not sure I understand it. The food is generally good, sometimes bland, once in a while great, and overall not too imaginative. Service is hit or miss, but usually pretty good, when they're not packed. Has more of a family restaurant feel than one of an old style diner -- which is, in part, why I really don't understand the comment of a poster below about how dirty it is. (It's not. It's generally the opposite of "greasy spoon.") Maybe I just can't get past the fact that it's a breakfast place that doesn't serve hashbrowns. Recommend this review
