"Really? Did you taste it first?"

July 07, 2009 - Doesn't like it - Starter was Spicy Chicken Chile Relleno -- arrived hot and fragrant, but the pico was flat and the pepper was bitter. The pith (white bitter part) was still mostly present, but occasionally that happens. The filling was homogeneous in texture and generically "spicy."At this point the Raspberry "Mojito" sugar-shake got passed to my date and I tried to recover my palette with water. The wine helped, but the "wine guy" was pretty damn clueless about grapes or regions. Fine, my own damn fault for thinking there would be a sommelier.Next was the Baby Spinach Salad. It's all about tart and salt and some pine nuts slugging it out with the greens, and completely uninspired. The dressing was your basic vinaigrette, but it somehow managed to aggravate rather than marry the tastes. The Chef special Buffalo loin was cooked rare as requested, and tiny. The surprisingly unbalanced chipolte sauce threatened to ruin the meat, but at least it was on the side. "But it's healthy" does not excuse a near inedible sauce. Even so, I tried two bites of the black bean relish/concoction before giving up. It was bitter, sour, under seasoned and frankly horrible. We wound up going somewhere else for dessert, and saved the evening, thankfully. 2 out of 5. |

"Not Great"

June 26, 2009 - Doesn't like it - Over cooked my filet, for what they charge this should never happen. Got another filet in its place was nothing special a bit watery. so in short if the price was halved then this would be a better tasting filet.Darden owned restaurants are always decent at best never great. 1 person likes this review Recommend |

June 10, 2009 - Great atmosphere! Love the piano bar. Dessert shots are the best, creative, and delicious. Valet parking for busy nights is a good deal. A huge wine selection. |

February 17, 2009 - Really likes it - Can't believe it. We must have driven by Seasons 52 in Altamonte hundreds of times and never knew it was there. 1st time dining was a great experience. Chicken appetizer, small salads, house Merlot and house cabernet, pork for one entree, salmon for the other. Both well prepared with excellent presentation. Outstanding service from people who really cared about your visit. Ultra small desserts at just $2.50 each were a perfect final act. We are really looking forward to many return trips. |
