August 13, 2009 - Doesn't like it - There seem to be slot of people who like Ruiz's so I was suprised that my experience was bad. The waitress after seating us said it would be a moment and then proceeded to bus tables when there were only about seven people ( Including the three of us) in the whole dining room. She also didn't bring the chips and salsa out with the drinks. We had to ask for them after we ordered our meals. The food was hardly authentic mexican. My brother's quesadilla wasn't even grilled on the outside, it was basically a premade fajita. The food at Ruiz's isn't terrible it just isn't authentic Mexican. 1 person likes this review Recommend |

May 23, 2009 - Likes it - I've been going to Ruiz since I was 2, and still love it now in my 30's. Their quesadillas, enchiladas, pork tamales, and salsa can't be beat. Some prefer Tex Mex, and that's fine, but Ruiz isn't it. Ruiz is authentic Mexican. Go with an open mind, and you'll definitely enjoy your visit. |
