April 11, 2009 - Likes it - Loved our burgers - Moonstone Farms beef burger and black bean burger. Always busy and crowded with a high energy vibe. Grab a drink from the bar, it's worth the wait. |

November 27, 2008 - Really likes it - Their scramble specials and bloody mary's are always good. The BLB fries (more like potato chips) are a nice potato serving as well. Reasonable prices but dont expect huge portions. |

"Beer, food and bowling"

August 15, 2008 - Really likes it - The BLB has been a staple of the Uptown area for years. It's a great place to meet friends for a couple beers and even some bowling (after a couple brews you usually play better right?). They carry a number of great beers on tap and have a decent happy hour. Food isn't amazing but it'll help keep those beers coming. Bowling is a great touch. Always nice to play at a place where the "pros" aren't going to laugh at you for bowling less then a 100 (but your friends sure might). It would be nice to have some onsite parking but finding a spot close by is usually pretty easy. Music selection is along with that of the general Uptown area. New age and hip. All in all the BLB is a great place to drink and have a great time! |
