December 12, 2009 - Likes it - This deserves three coños! The food was absolutely delicioso! We started with the mussels in white wine sauce & garlic and the tostones rellenos with shrimp. I had the Chicken Guajira which is stuffed with platano maduro and cheese, very creative and tasty. Chicken was very moist and baked not fried. I tried the banana bread pudding great flavor could have been more moist. Also my plate included the very famous Cuban staple, black beans. I consider my black beans the very best in the world so I'm always critical of black bean in a menu. They were very good at Guantanamera they could bring down the cumin a bit for my liking. The staff was excellent both in service and visually. The decorations and paintings very authentic. Could use a bit more lighting. Will absolutely return. |
