July 26, 2009 - Likes it - Great local diner to experience the local flavor. The service is very friendly. You are treated like family & the owners truly care about their customers. We enjoyed the fresh & flaky Danish basket. Waitress even offered a baggie for the basket. I love hot food so the firehouse hot omelette was perfect! Hubby had the daily special lobster Benedict. Lobster was fresh & not fishy. Wonderful breakfast and we'd come back here again. |

June 07, 2009 - Really likes it - This is the way a Diner Breakfast should be. I love the food, and I love the people. It's well worth the drive across the bridge.Take time to read the ceiling tiles while you are there. There is a reason the locals keep voting on this place year after year. |

"Jersey Style Diner"

November 16, 2008 - Likes it - This is a great place to have a nice breakfast experience. We need more diners like this in Florida. The staff is VERY nice. They immediately noticed that we were cramed in a small booth and moved us to a bigger one. The balloon guy was very talented, keeping the kids, and bday people happy. Wow, he can make ANYTHING.My only gripe is that they are a little too pricey. But hey, if you can pull a wait crowd in this town for breakfast, I guess you can name your price... (7.50 for a taylor ham sandwich is steep though, ouch). 2 people like this review Recommend |

"A Breakfast Tradition"

November 09, 2008 - Really likes it - Lenny's is my favorite breakfast place, period. I understand that the bustling diner atmosphere isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I grew up loving weekend meals of big piles of home fried potatoes, eggs, toast, hash and coffee. I order the Firehouse omelette every time nowadays, and my wife loves to get the potato pancakes. And I can't even count how many times the management has gone out of their way to help my wife and me with our baby girl -- whether it's making her special half orders of eggs or rushing us some oatmeal or applesauce within seconds of sitting down (despite the mob of other customers). Just relax, enjoy the goofy ceiling tiles and get some good nosh. 1 person likes this review Recommend |
