"Bad then Great"

November 28, 2009 - I have been to the new Whiskey Joe's twice now. I had a bad first impression but the second time I went I now will go back. The first time the food was good and the music nice but my service was horrible. I sat in the bar and her name Tina I think acted as though she were high the entire time. She got the order wrong, didn't ask if we wanted more drinks until our drinks were empty thirty minutes ect. and stumbled from table to table as if she were drunk. I believing in second chances decided to give it another try b/c of the good food and band. The second time was wonderful! My server Roger was great, he was very attentive and kept my drinks coming. My snapper was a beautiful presentation and my hurricanes were very tasty and the best thing was they were on happy hour. I would now tell my friends to go there but ask for Roger. 1 person likes this review Recommend |

January 21, 2009 - Likes it - I was lucky enough to spend some time at Whisky Joe's on my first visit to Tampa. The location, view, atmosphere and ambience are superb, I loved the food and music and I really liked how the staff there treated me. I was only in town two nights, and ate there both nights! if your hotel is out near the airport, definitely check out Whisky Joe's! 5 people like this review Recommend |

January 09, 2009 - Likes it - Whiskey Joe's is a great place to stop by and have a great time with all your friends. They have 10 flat screen tv's, with more to come. The patio is right on the bay. There is not a bad seat in the entire restaurant. The food and the service is great. They have two happy hours 5pm till 7pm and 9pm till 11pm. Live entertainment on the weekend, and Yes Reggae Sunday's are back. Stop by and check this place out. 4 people like this review Recommend |
