"Bookmaker Salad"
by Mike Wellington

November 02, 2009 - Likes it - If you haven't tried a Bookmaker Salad, then you got to go to Sab's and try one. The house dressing is the best I have ever tasted, and they sell it in wine bottles for $7.95. I use it as a dip at tailgate parties with cut up pumpernickel bread, or practically anything except ice cream. I always ask for the salad tossed with the dressing, and lots on the side. |

September 07, 2009 - Really likes it - Went to sabatino's for a Sunday night family dinner, everyone left happy. Food was very good, really liked the eggplant parm. It was very busy, but did not have a wait and the service was very quick and attentive. Added to our family favorites. |

"Disappointing"

May 30, 2009 - Doesn't like it - We ate here last weekend and disappointing is an understatement. For all the 'hype' about having great Italian food we found our food to be on the level of diner quality...if not worse. Our meals looked and tasted like they had been frozen and re-heated. The restaurant itself is in some serious need of remodeling as well. On a positive note, the waitstaff was very friendly. But if you're looking for good Italian food, head somewhere else. |

"Baltimore Institution"

January 15, 2009 - Really likes it - I have been going to Sab's for 20 plus years and its the perfect place to get good italian comfort food. I always get the same thing - baked rigatoni, house salad with house dressing and a side of meatballs. There is enough left over for lunch the next day and I am never dissapointed. Feels like home. 2 people like this review Recommend |

"Favorite for over 20 years"
by David Scott

December 03, 2008 - Really likes it - Sabatino's is by far the best Italian restaurant I have every eaten at. I still hold it as the standard for all other Italian restaurants to try to live up to and none have matched it. Renato Rotondo and his family make Sabatino's excellent both in the food and service. 2 people like this review Recommend |

"Still a Nice Night Out..."
by Vic Seabold

October 30, 2008 - Likes it - I have been going to Sabatino's off and on for over 30 years and with 2 different wives. But I have had the same waitress, almost everytime I have gone. The food is consistantly good, and the service has always been excellant. The old favorites are still the best things on the menu, the bookmaker salad, shrimp scampi, the lasagna...and the valet parking is great , since there is no parking to be found most nights in Little Italy. |
