November 27, 2009 - Wonderful setting, friendly, professional and competent staff and the food is pretty good as well. Hard to knock this place. What does it matter that it is not if fact the best Thai food I've ever eaten, or the Sushi may not be caught and cut the same day? The atmosphere and courteous service go miles to make this place one of the more enjoyable spots in the city to relax with friends and family, unpretentious and welcoming. |

November 22, 2009 - Doesn't like it - Of this is the best sushi in Cincinnati I feel sorry for the people who live there. Soggy nori and flavorless rice were only part of the problem. The Thai food wasn't even good. Maybe we were there on an off night but somehow I doubt it. |

April 27, 2009 - Likes it - We have gone here several times and each time has been a positive experience. Quick, attentive service and tasty food and sushi. Will agree with other reviews that the cost is a bit higher than other Asian restaurants, but not overly so. Would recommend it! |

March 27, 2009 - Likes it - Teak is a great restaurant. Very good Sushi, and the Pad Thai noodles are among the best in the city. If you're looking for something different, try the coconut soup. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! It's a tad on the pricey side, but so is the rent in Mt. Adams. |

October 23, 2008 - It's hard to beat Teak. The food is always solid (despite the funkiest menu in the city). The terraced patio is a great place to eat outside (despite the fact that there is no view). And the atmosphere is funky and lively.Best bets on the menu: Massman curry, chicken coconut soup, pad thai (best in the city I think) and anything they make with asparagus.The service has varied widely during the last 12 years. Some of the younger servers have been indifferent at times. The older staff is outstanding, especially when dealing with families.It's a great place to eat and then walk around to enjoy the rest of the Mt. Adams neighborhood. |
