"Outstanding"

March 19, 2010 - We are hooked! We had lunch at The String Bean today and encourage y'all to visit them soon. In addition to a fully stocked market with skads of beer, wine and fresh butchered meat, they offer an outstanding menu. My wife had the egglplant on Foccacia and I enjoyed the "Trucker's" sandwich. Both were extremely fresh, well prepared and seasoned correctly. Dave, the manager, made a couple suggestions from their catalog of 182 beers at my request. The first was full of flavor but a bit sharp for me. The second was full bodied and smooth. Great to experiment. Then we had their Fried Oreos with Ice Cream and Caramel. So good my wife and tears in her eyes. Make a visit a priority. I know we will be back!!! |
