November 22, 2009 - Doesn't like it - Food is good, if you can put up with the incredibly rude staff

"Always a favorite!" by meg (1 review)
September 21, 2009 - Really likes it - I love this resaurant. As soon as you walk in you get a warm feeling...the people, the lighting, the cozy brick and of course the food! Everything I've had here is excellent. It's hard for me though to not order the carrot papardella...that is just divine. Any leftovers you may take is still filled with lobster. There is so much of it! Also a great choice is the twin angus beef tournadoes. The mushroom ragout with the applewood bacon is perfect. I never have room for dessert, but that's ok. I always leave happy!

September 08, 2009 - Likes it - The best restaurant in Buffalo. Left Bank is a must for everyone and it never disappoints! The pork tenderloin is my favorite, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Ask fir Kate as your server and your night will be big fun!

"Good but not great..." by yen (3 reviews)
March 17, 2009 - Left Bank has lost a bit of its lustre over the years. Good food (pork tenderloin, portabello mushroom app) at decent prices but the food quality is not consistent from visit to visit. Beware of the customer service on parties over 4...prepare for a long meal.

The food is interesting and enjoyable.

"One of the best restaurants in Buffalo...." by iloveallfood (22 reviews)
January 07, 2009 - Likes it - Left Bank is the place you take a date, the place you go to meet friends for drinks, the place you go for a dependable good meal any day of the week. Prices are very reasonable as compared to other restaurants of the same caliber. Definitely try the bruschetta and the salmon wrapped asparagus appetizer.
Side note: Don't get discouraged because it is in a shadier part of town...

"Go there. Now." by PassMcGass (3 reviews)
October 07, 2008 - Really likes it - This is a personal favorite restaurant of mine.  Terrific atmosphere, excellent food and the prices are even better.  One of the only "fine dining" restaurants in Buffalo where the bill actually leaves me smiling.  Left Bank will not make you say, "food wasn't THAT good", once you get the check.
Also, check out their Sunday brunch.  You need a reservation, but even with a couple mimosa's and 2 entrees, you're dining nicely for under 30 bucks.  Pretty hard to beat.
