April 25, 2009 - Likes it - Delicious! Went there tonight with friends and we all loved our meals. I had the ravioli with spinach which was delicious. My friends had the salmon, pasta with duck and a filet. Each dish was wonderful. My friend requested her filet medium well and it was still tender enough to cut with a butter knife. The tiramisu for dessert was wonderful. |

"Good, but not as great as the hype"

March 02, 2009 - Likes it - Good, but not as great as the hype. The service was nice, but the food was not excellent, as I'd been told by a few people, which made me a bit surprised by the cost. Maybe it was an off night. Still would probably go again, but this time with more reasonable expectations of it being a good, not great, restaurant. 2 people like this review Recommend |

"Never Been Disappointed"

July 30, 2008 - Really likes it - Sometimes I wake up at night craving their Pappardelle con Sugo d’Anatra (Pappardelle with Duck Ragu). Their own fresh pasta with the great flavor of duck and red wine. The duck is extremely tender. It's filling. For a starter choose the appetizer of a basket of grilled French bread rubbed with garlic and oil, and served with a terrine filled with baked tomatoes, herbs, and buffalo mozzarella. It's served hot and it's amazing. Bartolotta also has some of the best iced tea in the city. Not bitter like most places - it has a citrusy, mild flavor that doesn't need any added sweetener. |
