    Will Return!
We live in Amelia and had never been to Marker 32 before. We ate their tonight, meeting old friends who were in Jacksonville for a short stay. We had a fabulous time. Three of us had the wonderful pompano, and the fourth had two appetizers. Our waiter and the maitre d' we're both stupendous about not rushing us and ensuring that we had a good time. Wonderful, lively atmosphere, good food. W e'll return often, and soon.

    AMAZING
We went to Marker 32 for a little date night a couple of weeks ago. The food was amazing. Props to the chef, we haven't had a good meal like that for weeks. But our waiter, Jeff, was the best waiter we probably have ever had. He was extremely prompt and knowledgeable about the menu and everything there. Our food was brought to us quickly and there was nothing wrong with it. That boy was fantastic! THANKS, JEFF! : )

    Great Date Place
With excellent service, interesting and deliciously prepared food choices, and a good location, Marker 32 is perfect for date night. The building is simple but nice. We enjoyed the selection of breads, the fresh mayport shrimp appetizer and the fish and scallops entree. The prices are somewhat expensive and the portion sizes small but that leaves room for dessert. I had the burbon creme brulee and it was just ok so should have tried one of their chocolate choices. The service was outstanding, though maybe a little bit overwhelming, since one server must have asked us if he could remove out bread basket nearly a dozen times before we were finished with it.

Interesting menu- always nice to see something more inventive with unique options instead of the typical steak&seafood place. Food was great and service was outstanding!

    One word..."Awesome"
We searched for a local favorite on our visit to Jacksonville, Florida and we hit the "marker" with this one! Just west of the bridge on Beach Blvd it was a delightful surprise inside. We were greeted by manager Brian and although they love you to have reservations, we were able to get a great table shortly after ordering one of their signature cocktails at the friendly bar area. Our starter was the Scallops and Artichokes and we both ordered a fish from the featured menu. Our waiter Steve was excellent and well versed with all the details of the chef's preparations. Both the Flounder and Bronzoni had complex yet simple layers of flavor. YUM! We discovered that the owners have another local delight named Palm Valley Fish Camp and we will have lunch or dinner there today. AWESOME!

    Amazing!!
Just had my first visit to Marker 32 and it was perfect! I have driven past this place for years and wish someone would have told me about this place. Our waiter Douglas was formal and charmng. I am very picky and he described every item on the menu to me before I decided on just the right entree. He had us try the broiled oysters and it might have been the best thing I have ever eaten. One of the best dinners I have ever had, cant wait to go back.

    Guess Who's Back!
Just returned to Marker 32 after a most amazing experience on December 29th. I had to make sure that it wasn't a fluke. Holy cow! Walked in on a Wednesday and it looked like a Saturday in there! This place has a huge buzz about it right now. I think I had six different breads tonight. The Sundried tomato and the Foccacia(sp?) were to die for! Tried the Oyster appetizer and the Grouper entree special! Both to die for. Also went ahead and indulged in a S'more-tini with my Truffle Torte. This place is bar none a must see and must eat! WOW!

    Old school Floridian seafood joint
It was packed Saturday night and a bit loud (supposed to be quiet romantic date night with hubby) but loved their wine selection so night started off with a California chardonnay and the goat cheese beignets - more of a crispy fritter made with beignet batter and a smoky tomato sauce. Very nice beginning.
Main course, I loved - my flaky perfectly broiled flounder made any way I wantee off the menu with sage butter sauce, seasonal veggies and instead of jasmine rice (I'm Asian, needed something different) so they allowed the warm bacon potato salad. While the sauce was not on the fish when it came to me, waiter took care of that right away, bringing me a nice mini bowl of sage butter sauce. Dangerous, the whole bowl went over the fish and sides. With my Italian Pinot Grigio, meal was perfection. Eric ordered the chorizo and apple risotto and asked for the fried conch appetizer along with the risotto. We could have sent it back and I'm sure they would have corrected the issue but we were too lazy to do so. We had fresh fried conch fritters in the Bahamas not long ago and that became our measuring stick for all conch fried. Overall, service, food, and wine with nice view of the marina made for a fantastic date night.

    Wonderfull Food and Service
We called at the minute on a Friday night and got one of the last reservations. The server was very helpful and attentive. The entire staff made us feel welcome. We had a table overlooking the water, and felt like we were on vacation in San Francisco at Fisherman's Warf. The menu had several interesting appetizers as well as main courses, not to mention some great desert choices. We enjoyed a wonderful evening and will be back.

Frequent flyers especially when in mood for (cringe) fried shrimp. Plate has 10 jumbo Mayport shrimp--- sweet, tender w/ celery root slaw & fennel fries! Price hike from $16 to $19 and 2 less shrimp but still worth it! Never disappointed with food or service, but it gets Very Noisy. If you're looking for quiet/romantic this "ain't" it.

Eight years ago I thought this place was so-so at best and never really wanted to go back. Local reports were that it has a new face and menu. We returned and were pleasantly surprised. Great apps with a variety of fresh flavors and color. Service was excellent. We will be back.

Wonderful service, delicious food, and a pleasant ambiance made for a lovely dining experience. So many options sounded good that it was hard to choose from all the small plates/starters.Wound up sharing rustic seafood soup-a red based chowder chock full of clams, oysters, fish and mushrooms.then signature broiled oysters with bacon, spinach, sundried tomatoes;half order of classic Caesar;entree was sauteed pompano in brown butter, pine nuts and sage--melt in your mouth fish- served over jasmine rice and veggies. Everything was as pretty to look at as it was enjoyable to eat. Forced myself to try their apple desert with oatmeal streusel..yum. Can't wait to be back in Jax area to visit again!

You will look far and wide to find an experience like this.
Are you looking for food prepared from scratch including the bread and ice cream? Are looking for an unpretentious setting that packs an explosion of flavor? Or a restaurant that smokes its own chocolate, for example? Then this is the place. We are from near Chicago and are accustomed to exceptional food. We travel the country on business and enjoy great food everywhere. What we are NOT accustomed to is enjoying gourmet food at humble prices. The menu is extensive reflecting about 15 items. That doesn't include the chef's daily specials which numbered as many. The only thing missing was linen tablecloths but we can get that anywhere. This is a place where substance trumped form ..in spades. The service was mature and comfortable. When asked to speak with the chef, she knew her stuff including her pride in her first batch of brown butter ice cream for fall.
Make reservations at Marker 32 if you want to treat yourselves and only you. You deseve it. (This is my first review as I thought that highly of it)

    Again and again and again
So my bf and I first went to Marker 32 back in September and we were really impressed. Since then we have gone back at least twice a month and we have never once been disappointed. We have taken my parents and sent many other people over to share in this wonderful dining experience. I would rate this place as a DO NOT MISS. Another don't miss is the bone in pork chop ....

    For the love of food
My Family dined at Marker 32 this past weekend to celebrate our 2nd wedding Anniversary. We had heard great things about Marker 32 and now we can confirm it is well worth it. We had a great server who knew the food very well. We started with the Conch appetizer, Seared Scallop with a mushroom ragu, Broiled oysters in the shell were out of this world!! My Mom and I do not eat oysters very often, but these were so delish. We ordered another one to split. At one point the server came out with 4 glasses of champagne for us to toast!! That was very nice. The house salad is so refreshing and full of fresh greens like they were just picked out back for the salads. My Husband got the warm spinach salad that was full of baby spinach, mushrooms and swiss cheese. For entree's I got the herb grilled local farm fresh bone in Pork chop served with a Potato Gratin and fresh veggie medley. The Pork was well prepared and very tender and juicy. Very obvious not the pork chops offered in stores. My Husband ordered the Marker 32 Fried oyster platter served with Fennel fries, that's right thinly julienned fennel fried ever so delicately and salted. Delish, we are already very fond of fennel so this was very much enjoyed. My Father ordered the Japanese inspired Tuna and this was the largest, best cooked piece of Tuna I have seen in a long time. It was also delish!! My Mother ordered the Beef tenderloin, normally served with Mascarpone grits and collard greens. Being she is not a fan of grits, the server spoke right up and stated they could offer other sides so she could still enjoy the Tenderloin. Everything was fresh and served beautifully. The waterfront view was very nice as we watched the boats coming in and out. Dessert was Honey Vanilla Creme Brulee with a smooth cup of Kona coffee. My Dad went out on a limb and tried the Strawberry/Banana white chocolate bread pudding which he enjoyed. Thank you Marker 32 for making our first experience leaving a good taste in our mouths and lightness to our hearts for having a wonderful meal while my family and I celebrated together. We will be back that is for sure!!

We just love it. First time and can't wait to go back. Shrimp and scallop dinners were incredibly delicious. Presentation- all the way. Staff - the best - very informed, helpful and attentive. Setting and atmosphere - a must see on the intercoastal and upbeat. The food topped all of our best dinner choices for the last year. We are fish lovers and now have found a place to indulge
