"Mike's Subs - Keyport, VERY GOOD SUBS"

October 21, 2009 - Where I come from, we call subs grinders, with that out of the way, Mikes' Sub Shop serves very good subs. For over 15 years our family have had nothing but friendly, excellent service, and delicious subs. I have often recommended them to new friends and new family to hit up their shop when in the area, which has always lead to positive feedback. Their sub shop is family owned, and they are very picky with being constant with freshness, fresh bread, freshness of all their products. They have never skimp on anything. Mike's Subs has the kind of quality that "MOM would be proud to serve". If you don't like subs, you just might change your mind. My people find it worth taking the extra trip miles to get a Mikes' Sub in Keyport. Our Mikes' sub - family favorite:Turkey, roast beef, provolone, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, extra wet, mayo plus the extras they add to make them a yummy Mikes' sub. We personally like the subs cut in quarters. |

October 14, 2009 - I work near Mike's I thought they would have a good sandwich bases on the reviews. The place was not as good as I thought it would be, the bread was good, but the meat should have been better quality for a 13. Whole sub, they were really tight with the tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. They put 4 slices of tomatoe on a whloe sub, the lettuce were almost nonexistent. I has to drive 20 mins. To get a 13. sub and the best thing I can say is, "the bread was good", although I did see a seafood place next door I may try other than going there I will not be going in the direction of Mike again. |

February 25, 2009 - Likes it - family owned and operated.They are in their 48th year in the same location.The same owner since1961.WOW thats amazin!!!!!! in this day and age.Its a very pleasant place to go into and its where people meet that havent seen each other in a while.They take pride in their product and no one ever leaves feeling anything but 100%fully satisfyied. 3 people like this review Recommend |

October 06, 2008 - Likes it - The subs are the best in New Jersey. One key ingredient is the bread. The sub bread is always extremely fresh, and is very tasty. The shop makes all your standard subs, plus custom orders as well. They also make giant subs, for parties or other occasions. Mike's is located on the waterfront in Keyport - it's nice to get a sub and eat by the water. Excellent! 3 people like this review Recommend |
