"Amazing"

February 26, 2010 - I had the hummus with pita and the dolmathes for starters. Both were very good. I am a vegetarian so, although everything that had meat on the menu looked delicious, I ordered the greek salad. It was not a compromise whatsoever. The salad was so tasty and so filling that I stuffed myself trying (and failing) to finish it. Everybody else in our party loved their dishes as well. I highly recommend Solaris. |

February 24, 2010 - Likes it - This restaurant is a sigh of relief for Green Valley. Finally, great food, great service, and great atmosphere. We used to have to drive all the way to north Tucson to enjoy a restaurant like this. |

February 03, 2010 - We have been patrons of Solaris since it opened and before when it was in Amado. We have NEVER had a bad meal or been treated rudely by any staff person. The wait staff is always friendly & courteous (our favorite watress is Janie, she's great). The menu is varied & Nick & George will try to accomodate any special requests. Every place & person has an off night, if you trash a place because of one off time then they probably don't want your business anyway. Go and enjoy this Great place.Bon Apetito!!!! |

January 02, 2010 - Really likes it - I'm not sure what restaurant "Robert" wad talking about, but solaris had NEVER been empty. I've been eating there since it's opened and know for a fact that no waitress would ever complain about a tip! That review was a bunch of crap! Solaris has always had great food- high quality especially for this area. Wonderful service, especially if you sit at the bar, which we normally do since it's so darn busy. Call for reservations on the weekends. |

"Don't even bother."

December 24, 2009 - Why would you waste your time with this over priced flop. The service is rude and the food just is just middle of the road. We read some of the reviews and thought to give it a try. That was the biggest mistake one could make. The place was almost empty, that should have been our first sign. We had to wait forever to be seated, and even longer for our waitress to finally make an appearance. I ordered a $25 steak, which for around here is expensive. I ordered it medium rare, and got a piece of shoe leather. The waitress was not very concerned that my food was not to my liking. Finally had to get the manager over to get the food sorted out. Even then the steak lacked flavor and was tough. With an almost empty restaurant one would expect some what decent service, but our waitress did several dissapearing acts, and was not seen for long periods of time. As we were leaving, I informed the manager of our displeasure, and he seemed to not really care. The waitress had the nerve to come to us as we were leaving and complain about the tip. When I explaind that if she wanted a good tip she should provide good service, she made a rude gesture and walked away. We eat out several times a week and this place will never see another penny of ours. |

November 28, 2009 - Overpriced, very noisy restaurant. Had to leave the restaurant too noisy, unable to talk with your companion and seating touching elbows with strangers at the next table you are not even with. For my money I'll go to McDonald's and have a table with some space. Overwhelmed my claustrophopia and I fled with my money never to return. |

August 27, 2009 - I had the Flat Iron Steak and it melted in my mouth it was so tender. We also had their Southwestern egg-rolls for a starter...mouthwatering good. I had the house salad which was crisp and tasty. Husband had the Tilapia and was well pleased with it. The restaurant is not real large so would be best to make a reservation. The waiters, greeter and servers are well trained and and very knowledgeable . We will be visiting again. |
