Good daily Cantonese fare, but Sunday dim sum fests are food blockbusters. full review | all Gayot reviews |

"Service is terrible"

October 15, 2009 - The food is OK, the service was horrible! Manager allowed us to sit and order around 2:30pm but the waitress and the chef was unwilling to serve, was told there will be a wedding in the evening. What the heck the wedding has something to do with other customers? strange logic. |

"Good Food"

August 12, 2009 - Likes it - The food is great. The dinner portions are large enough to share. The food comes out quickly. The almond tofu dessert is a favorite. The staff is pretty cold though. They bring you your food and then disapear until they come back with dessert (free). The staff is attentive though and your water glass never goes empty - but they just come by fill it and leave without talking or asking if you need something else. Overall I like the food and have gotten used to the service. |

"Convenience is what it does best"

July 23, 2009 - Convenience is what it does best. Both food and service are average, not the best dim sum I've tasted, it has nothing to compare to other Chinese restaurants. Go to China Garden and have dim sum only when you have to. |

"Satisfying Dim Sum Experience"
by dec

October 04, 2008 - Likes it - I've been to China Garden twice this year and have left very happy after each experience. The wait is never long (both times I went with 5+ people) despite the daunting crowd outside the restaurant. Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere is clean, sometimes noisy, but it's a very friendly sort of chaos. All the a la carte options are great. I wouldn't compare these flavors to the best of the best in NY and San Francisco, but everything is tasty and fresh. You definitely get a lot of the favorite dim sum standards you'd expect and will leave very satisfied. I definitely recommend China Garden. 1 person likes this review Recommend |
