Can't figure out why they run out of bread so frequentely late in the afternoon-they've been doing it for a while now. Oh well I still come back whenever the craving hits-Just make sure you get there early enough, or call if you have a serious sandwich craving to make sure they're not out. Nothing worse than showing up with mouth watering to find out...no more bread:( |

It's hip, laid back. and most definitely the best place to watch sports, no matter which one your into. They've got it. The 21 or so flat screens make sure there is never a dull moment. The food and drinks are good. The staff is super chill and laid back. Overall this place is one that will attend on a regular basis. Excellent flavors and the garliciky sauce on the yucca frita was amazing. Just as good or better than the Maple Leaf sister restaurant. |

The service is terrible, the food is not that good, and you can't even hear the games. This may be Belltown's version of a sportsbar but it's definitely not the place to go if you want to enjoy a good meal while watching a game. |

Even though I arrived earlyish for dinner (5 PM), they were already art of all sandwiches! Boo hiss. Instead, I ordered menu item #26, a Cuban tofu dish. Delicious - perfectly spiced and on a bed of perfectly steamed rice. Also on the side was a wonderful bean soup and well-dressed "pickled" salad, both of which were given similar loving attention.The location is a little spartan - a basically-unlabeled storefront on a nice stretch of Fremont Avenue. There are only a few tables, and quarters are cramped; groups need not apply. Service was friendly and remarkably quick.A subsequent trip allowed me to enjoy the gastrological euphoria that was the Midnight Cuban. Put simply, this was the best sandwich I have ever experienced. They were very accommodating and put the Browns game on the TV right in front of me. The place has great art work and tons of TVs. The food was actually pretty good and fairly priced. I was expecting it to be more expensive. |
