My wife and I spent the weekend in Cannon Beach. On the way back, we stopped in Astoria and had a fantastic lunch at Clemente's. I highly recommend it. |

Last time we went through Astoria we ate at a place called the Cannery Cafe - and it was really good, too. |

If you are in Cannon Beach eat at 'Newman's At 988' (yellow house south of town). A local recommended the place to us and their food is fantastic! |

Astoria has a really excellent farmers market. Sundays. You can't miss it if you're driving back from the Cannon Beach area, because the main drag thru town crisscrosses the market. We like to time it so we can have lunch there...either at one of the booths or at the food court at the north end of the market. And then get some produce for home. |
