Who doesn't like Agua Verde?

Hmm?  AD?  Diversity of opinion is great but not if it disagrees with me.  Margaritas... fish tacos... kayaks, whats not to like?  Sure you need to be judicious about the time that you go there (avoid the crowds) but this is a summer favorite, no?

It's not great food, but it does the trick at the end of a hot summer day, even with the wait.

I don't care for it. Too much yam!

Kayak in, grab a bite to eat, pour on the chipotle salsa, and then kayak away. A perfect summer afternoon.

As of last year, I heard they don't allow you to pull up in your own kayak anymore, or rather, the dock owners don't...

Kayak in, down some yams, feel ill, then kayak away.

i generally enjoy the food at agua verde, but lately i have discovered that they have taken shrimp tacos off the menu, a favorite of mine. i also miss the slices of watermelon they had used as garnish.

Me. This is one place where the food be damned, I won't go because of the staff. I have been treated poorly too many times to go back.

not great food...not great staff...always too crowded...all they have is the easy access via kayak....not interested

Sitting outside right on the water on a hot day makes the mediocre food and lame service tolerable.

Let's face it, where in our fine water laden city (with so much of it) can you have a good, fun dining experience ON THE WATER?  No where!  By default Aqua Verde is busy even though its food is mediocre at best.  Good dining is about the experience, not just the food.  Why are places like Ivar's and Ray's so busy on a nice day?  If we open the water fronts to more dining, we'd get some competition and have some ability to actually enjoy our waters and our food at the same time.

the food isn't very good - it is stifling and musty in there on a warm day
I'd rather put together a picnic of some sort and go to a waterfront and enjoy food that I, ya know - enjoy
