La Medusa "Excellent" March 31, 2008 - A group of 8 of us went to La Medusa last night to celebrate my birthday. The service was good and the food was great!Things that especially stood out were the grilled octopus antipasti, the tuna meatballs pasta, and the braised lamb shank pasta. I will definitely be returning to sample some of the many other appealing dishes from the menu which we didn't taste this time around... 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Facing East Taiwanese Restaurant "Yum!" March 26, 2008 - "Love this place!! Get the pork burger! Also, if you are adventurous you can get the waiter to translate some of the chinese only menu items.Oh, the chinese okra clam soup is rocking too. And the beef noodles dish...Man, I am hungry now. Maybe I need to drive to Bellevue for lunch!" 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Tamarind Tree "One Of The Best Vietnamese Restaurants in Seattle" March 24, 2008 - This place is fantastic. The menu is extensive and inventive. The ingredients are exceptionally fresh and well handled. I have yet to have something I did not like from this restaurant. I even like this place better than Slanted Door in San Francisco.Among my favorites: Tamarind Tree Rolls, Duck Salad, Lemongrass Halibut, Stuffed Escargot, Baby Clams and Rice Cracker, Fried Banana Cake.It is funny that the reviewer 'explorer' hated it so much. I have never heard anything else bad about the place. It is also funny that 'explorer' has no favorite restaurants, no wishlist, no friends, and exactly two reviews and two votes. One positive for Lemon Leaf Restaurant in Renton and one negative for Tamarind Tree. It's almost like they worked for Lemon Leaf or something...For a similar quality Vietnamese restaurant in Seattle you should also try Green Leaf on 8th. I like their pho a little better than TT's but they are both good. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |
