Royal India "OK." May 07, 2008 - After hearing plenty of good things I decided I needed to try out the Royal India Restaurant. Not being to big into Indian food I really was not sure what to expect. I found the place to be quite pleasant. The service was friendly, courteous, and attentive. The food prices were very reasonable. The menu was not bad. Although this restaurant was good by most standards, it really wasn't memorable. |

Red Fish Grill "Fantastic" May 04, 2008 - Red Fish Grill should be on the list of Miami's best restaurants. Perfect location tucked away in a beautiful park and right on the water, great menu of the freshest seafood and vegetables, and fantastic service make this restaurant a sure thing. Great for romantic dinners this is a perfect example of how more restaurants should behave. |

Barchetta on the Bay "Great Location Bad Management" May 04, 2008 - This restaurant has one of the best locations in south Florida. It is a shame that the management doesn't know what the hell they are doing. The menu is OK not too bad but defiantly not something to remember. The service was probably the worse for a restaurant of this caliber. The on my visit I discovered that the owner seemed to employ a team of goons from New Jersey. The fact that they were from New Jersey is not a problem, the problem was that they did not know how to work in a restaurant. Horrible manners, vocabulary and an unfriendly atmosphere makes this restaurant a complete turn off. The location is great though, so I guess I will return when it turns to new ownership. |

Finnegan's Way "Crappy restaurant" May 04, 2008 - This crap shack doesn't cut it by any means. Service is awful, menu sucks, food taste bad. I really have no idea how restaurants like this survive. I may sound like I am being a little harsh, but I am a very forgiving person when it comes to restaurant, and this restaurant is just the worst. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

La Carreta "24 hour cuban food" April 28, 2008 - What not to love about a cuban restaurant that stays open 24 hours. La Carreta has become a favorite of mine when its afterhours and all I want is picadillo and black beans. |

Monty's Stone Crab Seafood House & Raw Bar "Island life and service" April 28, 2008 - Monty's Raw Bar is a high volume, seafood restaurant right on the beach. Friday afternoons they have their raw bar open and have a great happy hour. The food here is what you would expect from visiting a high volume restaurant but that does not make this a place to avoid. It still manages to provide a great atmosphere and the Pain killer drinks will make sure the night is fun. 2 people like this review - Recommend |

Chispa "Spicy" April 28, 2008 - Chispa restaurant is a fabulous place to be seen. Hot cars, beautiful people and a fun bar make this place great not only for food but for drinks. If you are willing to throw down a little extra and get dressed up this place should be on your list. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Cafe Tu Tu Tango "Fake tapas, and chain restaurant quality" April 28, 2008 - It is a real wonder how this tourist trap still manages to stay alive in one of south Floridas best dinning areas. The menu consist of chain restaurant quality food, far from fresh and an environment that shows off the restaurants disregard for quality. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Padrino's "Padrinos Cuban Cuisine" April 26, 2008 - Padrinos offers average cuban food to those who think they can fnd cuban food in Hallandale. Not everything on the menu is authentic and the mojo is definitly not one of them. The food is not bad, it is just not authentic cuban food. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Bayside Hut "Perfect place for a Mojito or a beer" April 26, 2008 - This little restaurant could be completely missed if you dont know where your going. With views of biscayne bay and plenty of parking its a wonder how this restuarant hasnt been snatched up by corporate developers. With fresh fish, good drinks, and cheap prices this is the perfect place to spend a Saturday afternoon 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Sushi Siam "Sushi hot spot" April 26, 2008 - Sushi Siams' Biscayne Blvd. location makes for a fun restaurant. Next to the casual flair of Andiamo, and the uptight trend followers at soyka, Sushi Siam offers an oasis of calm and relaxing with great fresh sushi at good prices. You have the option of people watching on the front patio, or sitting inside with their sleek new decor. Come around lunch time and enjoy sushi at big discounts. 2 people like this review - Recommend |

Gables Diner "No Bathrooms!?" April 26, 2008 - The one and only time I visited this restaurant I was expecting something new, a better version of a diner, if you will. What I found was that the restaurant not only had no working bathrooms for guest but also had filthy bathrooms for its employees to use. This is one experience that you cannot forget. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Provence Grill "Provence, dans Miami" April 26, 2008 - Provence Grill offers a great menu of traditional french cuisine right in the heart of the Brickell Area. Located next to the recently opened Mary Brickell Park and plaza you have the option of outside patio seating or inside seating. Service is excellent and classically french with waiters being fluent in French and English. The food is all very fresh and the prices are set at a perfect level for frequent enjoyment. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Jaxson's Ice Cream Parlor "I scream, you scream we all scream for Ice Cream" April 25, 2008 - Jaxsons Ice Cream Parlor has been scooping up sundaes over 50 years. Mr M's Sandwich Shop "Thick, Fresh and Meaty" April 25, 2008 - Mr. M's Sandwich Shop has been pumping out high quality subs for over 25 years. This small Mom and Pop shop makes subway look like kindergarten. All their ingredients from meats, cheeses, and vegetables are sliced fresh everyday. All their bread is baked fresh daily. If stopping by for lunch call ahead so your food will be ready when you get there, otherwise you will find yourself in a line out the door. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

P.F. Chang's China Bistro "Glorified Chineese Food" April 25, 2008 - PF Chang's may rate high among the wanna be in crowd but its Americanized Chinese food menu leaves much to be desired. If you like chain restaurants and eating the same thing here you could in any town in America then you'll love this place. If you have real taste and prefer to eat something that you cant get at a mall food court then stay away. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Le Cafe de Paris "Bon Apetit" April 25, 2008 - This cute little French restaurant on Las Olas is truly romantic. You can either eat inside the classic little restaurant or people watch outside on the patio seating. The menu features a great selection from the fixed price menu. If you choose this you get an appetizer, main course and dessert for a price you cant beat. This is the perfect place for a date so call ahead and make reservations. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Mark's Las Olas "Great Menu" April 25, 2008 - With seasonal vegetables, and the freshest meats its no wonder that Marks Las Olas has maintained such a high level of recognition. The service, ambiance and food all measure high on the dining scale. It is a little pricey but for special occasions I would have to agree, that its well worth it. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Jack's Hollywood Diner "Good breakfast" April 25, 2008 - This restaurant has been in here for over twenty years, and has had many different owners. There is sadly nothing special about this diner and its food is not known for being great. Its not bad it just doesnt have anyhting really going for it. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Capone's Flicker Lite Pizza "Small, Dark and Scarry" April 25, 2008 - This local hangout is notorious for its owners being related to those in the Italian Mafia(or so they'd like to believe). The only nice thing about this place is that they serve pizza on the intracostal. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Dairy Belle Ice Cream "Poutine" April 25, 2008 - This classic little ice cream stand has been here for over twenty years. Now owned by a Canadian, Quebecoise, this ice cream shop offers a great menu at prices that havent been seen since the early nineties. Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and fries all cooked to order and served hot. The place that makes this place special is their poutine. Poutine is a basket of fries served covered in gravy and candian cheese. It may not sound to great but one taste and you will be hooked. This is probably the only place in south Florida to serve up such a dish, and they do a damn good job at that 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Gourmet Diner "Not so Gourmet" April 25, 2008 - Showed up for a late lunch early dinner and was given a lunch time menu then told that I was not allowed to order food from the lunch menu. The service was not bad not good either just blah. The food choices were all pretty unappetizing as well. The diner theme is nice just not for gourmet. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Andiamo "Perfect pizza delivery" April 24, 2008 - Andiamo must be one of South Floridas best little known pizza restaurants. Their use of fresh untraditional ingredients puts this pizza restaurant at the top of the list. The friendly atmosphere and great location make this also a great place to meet with friends or family. The best thing about Andiamo is that they deliver. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Soyka "Stuck up, pretentious, snobbish." April 24, 2008 - The one and only time visiting Soyka left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. After sitting down for dinner on a very slow night I was excited to see what made this restaurant such a hot spot. I orderd a salad, and one of their burgers. While eating the salad I managed to bite into something that was clearly not supposed to be in the salad. I discovered that it was a foil lid from something which I had no idea. After asking the waiter about what on earth I had just eaten he proceded to tell me that he would have to ask the manager. 15 minutes later the manager finally shows up and says "Is there somehting wrong with your food?". I explained the situation and asked what it was that I had bit into. The manager then rudly told me that he did not know and that he would have to go and find out. Well 15 minutes later he returns and explains that it was the lid for a food jar. Normally I would have excused the situation had it been handled correctly but the entire staff that night seemed perfectly content on not attending to the needs of their customers. This is one restaurant that I will never return to. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Canela Café "Small" April 24, 2008 - This perfectly cute little tapas restaurant managed to survive the endless Biscayne Blvd construction and lived to tell about it. The service at the restaurant is personal, warm and friendly. The food can either be great or average depending on what day of the week you visit. If this restaurant can find a way to be consistent with serving quality food they might just be doing better. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Luna Caffe Llp "Perfect" April 24, 2008 - Luna Cafe does everything right. A well trained staff and management team make you fell as though you are dinning at a five star restaurant. The food is superb, fresh and the desserts will keep you coming back. The atmosphere here is a favorite of any restaurant I have visited. Perfectly dim, not too dark lighting, modern style and design, and a healthy mix of trendy young and the established old crowd frequent here. Valet parking is free, and reservations are easy. This has to be one of Miami's best restaurants. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

North 110 "Classy" April 24, 2008 - This small but classy restaurant serves up great dishes and offers fantastic service. S&S Diner "History near downtown." April 24, 2008 - Sitting inside S&S is like taking a trip to the past. Most of the original design and structure remains as it did in the 1920's. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Corner Muse "Healthy" April 24, 2008 - Corner muse is likely to ownly be frequented by the gym regulars next door which is a shame because this shop has it all. Bin no. 18 "Good in theory, bad in practice." April 24, 2008 - After passing by this cute little loft style cafe, I decided to give a try one night. The the atmosphere was quiet, the restaurant had to much space for such a small amount of tables. It made you feel lonely. The menu was a fairly easy simple concept, different platters with different cuts of meat, cheeses, fruits and vegetables that you would likely share with friends. This sounds great, but if your hungry you wont be happy with the portions served and the prices are too high. It is sad to see such a place open up and try something new and fail. Hopefully they will modify their dinner menu. 2 people like this review - Recommend |

Jimmy's East-Side Diner "Best Diner in South Florida" April 22, 2008 - This great place for breakfast will leave you feeling real good inside. You will probably want to take nap by the time you get home. Jimmy's has a great friendly diner atmosphere and the menu is done perfectly. I always get the "Trailer park special" which is biscuits and gravy and eggs. The service is quick and easy, the prices are spot on, and if you come on the weekend you will likely have to wait a couple of minutes for a table. But no worries all the waitresses are fast as hell and you will likely be seated in no time. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Uva 69 "Tasy, light, and healthy." April 22, 2008 - Uva located right on Biscayne is an ok place for breakfast or lunch. The food is good and fresh, the atmosphere is fun and modern, but the service can be poor and forgetful. Every visit I made to this restaurant has been marked by good food and bad service. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Magnum "Fun" April 22, 2008 - Magnum restaurant may seem like a total dive from the outside but step in and you have found yourself in a dimly lit cabaret style restaurant that could have come straight from New York. The staff is extremely friendly and the man playing the piano does take request(for a tip of course). The food is all between 15-25 dollars and is made pretty well. It is a fun place to bring a date or a couple of friends. If you decided to dine before 8:30 be prepared because you will run into an older crowd. Overall the place is great, and you wont regret your visit. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Enriqueta's Sandwich Shop "Classic" April 22, 2008 - This classic Cuban lunch restaurant does everything right. Food is prepared fresh, fast and great. The quick atmosphere and friendly service gives authenticity to this unique restaurant. Finding a table and a parking spot can be difficult at times so don't be surprised if you have a wait. But its a worth it. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Tatu "Tourist attraction" April 22, 2008 - This upscale sushi restaurant situated within the outside shopping center of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is a complete waste. If you a local looking for a good time or even an out-of-towner, look elsewhere for sushi. You are going to be charged extravagant prices for mediocre quality seafood, and pretentious service. There are much better sushi restaurants that have reasonable prices all over south Florida. The only plus to this place is its ambiance, it truly is beautifully designed. But is it all worth it? 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Bissaleh Café "Fun" April 22, 2008 - I have eaten at Bissaleh Cafe several times since it has opened. Just about every time that I visit it is late in the evening with a large group of friends. The main reason I visit is mainly for the hookah and the location on A1A. The food is quite enjoyable middle eastern Israeli dishes that are perfect for a late night snack. The hookah service is what I enjoy most. All in all it is a fun place for friends. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Brosia "Beautiful" April 22, 2008 - First time visiting Brosia I decided to bring a couple of friends from out of town for dinner. We were greeted very warmly by the host and sat at a sweet little table outside. All the staff was extremely friendly and inviting, unlike many of the chic restaurants in Miami. The food was great, fresh and served just right. The White Sangria is a great drink for the table and the fresh fruit that its loaded with adds a great flavor. I would love to visit this restaurant again and try out more of the dishes everything looks good and the atmosphere is fantastic. 2 people like this review - Recommend |

Grass Restaurant & Lounge "Delightful" April 14, 2008 - Visited the Grass for the first time last week. After living downtown for almost two years I had never heard of it. I decided to take my partner there for a special dinner and I was surprised by what I found inside. The food was fabulous, I had the Grouper plate and he had the plate with the scallops and the butternut bisque. Both were fabulous. The ceviche to start was also quite amazing, you could tell that the seafood was completely fresh. The pictures from the website are pretty much what to expect in terms of ambiance. Music, lighting, design was all spot on. The only complaint was that seating for two can be akward if placed next two strangers on their long booth. Overall great experience. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Broadway New American Grill "Absolutely Confused" May 04, 2008 - Last year a trip to Seattle, I stumbled upon this perfectly friendly little restaurant with a great special on drinks. I decided to give it a try and fell in love with it. Being from Miami I thought that the restaurant did everything right. Personal friendly service, food made well, and prices just right in a great location. I thought this restaurant was great. I thought that the people from Seattle were also the best people that I had ever had the pleasure of meeting. Friendly, sophisticated, and fun was what almost everyone from Seattle seemed to be. However after reading these reviews about this restaurant I am slightly confused. Is this the same Seattle that I visited? |
