Wibbley's Gourmet Hamburgers
"You've got to be kidding me"
April 21, 2008 - A "gourmet hamburger" does NOT have American cheese on it. Wibbley's serves hamburgers for those who've evidently never had a good hamburger. The shakes, however, are definitely tasty.

Ten Mercer
"One of my favorite dishes"
April 21, 2008 - Ten Mercer's salmon sandwich, with killer shoestring potato fries, is one of my favorite restaurant meals in the city.

Daly's Drive-in
"So sad."
April 21, 2008 - For over 20 years Daly's has been my favorite fish and chips in Seattle. I'm very sad they are no more.

Ray's Boathouse
"My favorite."
April 21, 2008 - I'm surprised to see that there are a few negative reviews here. For almost 20 years Ray's has been my favorite restaurant -- for dates, for impressing out-of-town guests, for celebrating both my graduations from UW, for treating my employees to dinner, and (in the cafe) for meeting friends for dinner-and-drinks. In all that time, I've never had a meal that's failed to delight. Ray's has also always been notable for stellar service.

McCormick & Schmick's
"Overcooked."
April 21, 2008 - McCormick & Schmick's is a block from my home, so I go in fairly often. It's unfortunate that I have to specify that I want my fish cooked "rare" to avoid its being overcooked. As another reviewer commented, overcooking is their specialty. When I request it rare, it's pretty good and it does seem to be fresh.

Cheesecake Factory (Bellevue Square)
"Huge portions, good desserts, but..."
April 21, 2008 - Long wait, no reservations, and incredibly mediocre food. I keep trying the place, because it's just a block from my condo and I desperately want it to be good, but it's not. It appalls me that we Bellevue dwellers have such a dearth of good food that this place continues to do a booming business.
