Restaurant Zoe "Always solid" March 10, 2007 - Zoe rarely disappoints, and while many restaurants skimp on their 25 for 25 offerings, Zoe's selection was extensive. Check out the gnudi, trout and chocolate tarte. Excellent selection of half-bottles. Nothing overly imaginative, but always competent. |

Canlis "Overrated" October 26, 2006 - I couldn't agree more w/ sammckelvie. The food is boring. The vaunted ambience is stuffing and pretentious. The valet thing is very impressive.update: Gourmet's latest top 100 restaurant list features Canlis -- not sure how? However, they do mention that with the new generation of ownership taking over, the menu has been significantly updated. Maybe worth a re-try? 1 person likes this review - Recommend |
